[edit] Article selection
Biographies for the 30 days of April have been selected. If anyone can figure out a way to fix the captions, though, please feel free to do so. John Carter (talk) 17:54, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- Is there a way to easily create a link to the article page? I don't understand the template syntax to do it myself (without editing each individual page). Also can we reduce the image size to, say, 100 px? DrKiernan (talk) 09:04, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

- I'm not sure what you mean by "a link to the article page." Any page in article space can be linked by putting square brackets around it and the title [[Biography]], which gives you: Biography. If you want to link to a portal it would be [[Portal:Biography]], which gives you: Portal:Biography.

- Going to 100 px in size is very small. Specifying "thumb" in the image specification will give the image a default size of 180px. Here's how to do that: [[Image:James Cook Blue Plaque.png|thumb|upright|right|[[Blue plaque]] for Captain James Cook]], gives you the first image, at right. Specifying "100px in place of "thumb" gives you the second. Note that the caption does not show below the image in the second version. Sunray (talk) 14:53, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

- I gave it a try. Feel free to revert this edit, if it wasn't what you had in mind. Hemmingsen 15:42, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
